At the end of August, one of the biggest circuit racing events of the Baltic season – Pärnu Summer Race 2026 – will take place in the Estonian resort town of Pärnu. The modern Porsche Ring circuit will host not only competitors from the Baltic Touring Car Championship, but also drivers from the Polish Circuit Racing Championship, the Estonian Formula Historic Championship, Mitjet Baltics and the Baltic Time Attack series.
The race weekend, organised by Baltic Racing Series, will begin already on Thursday, giving drivers and teams the opportunity to complete test sessions. The official event will start on Friday, when practice sessions and qualifying runs will take place throughout the day. While the two-hour endurance race at the first two rounds of this season at Biķernieki Circuit were held on Saturday evening, this time the combined Hankook Endurance Challenge and Nankang Endurance Academy race will take place on Friday evening from 18:00 to 20:00.
As a result, exciting on-track action will continue throughout Saturday from 10:00 until 19:00, featuring sprint races from both the Baltic Touring Car Championship and the Polish Circuit Racing Championship. The weekend will conclude on Sunday with races for the Estonian Formula Historic Championship and the Baltic Time Attack series. In addition, free Vitour tyre tests will be held at the circuit, with all Pärnu Summer Race participants invited to register by 31st July.
As usual, some of the most exciting battles on Saturday are expected in the BMW 325 CUP, BMW TURBO CUP and V1600 classes. In the most popular class of the past five years – BMW 325 CUP – Latvian driver Matīss Maļinovskis currently leads the overall standings, although at least ten drivers are capable of fighting for a podium at every round. Meanwhile, in the modern BMW TURBO CUP category, which is enjoying its second season this year, the leading five drivers have been battling on equal terms for victory in the most recent rounds, providing spectators with a fantastic show.
Although the opening part of the season in the V1600 class has produced a clear leading duo of Mareks Matvejevs and Nauris Agofonovs, the battle for third place remains wide open, both in individual rounds and in the overall standings, with at least five drivers in contention. Traditionally, the Porsche Ring circuit also attracts the season's largest entries in the powerful GT classes, whose fast, beautiful, and loud race cars always entertain the spectators in attendance.
It should also be noted that, from a spectator's perspective, Porsche Ring is the easiest circuit in the Baltics to follow racing action, as almost the entire track can be seen from the terrace of the main building.
