Baltic Time Attack season finale on 31st August at “WashCar Riga Summer Race” in Biķernieki

Next Sunday, August 31st, the third and final round of the Baltic Time Attack series will take place at Biķernieki track. The event will be held as part of the major racing festival “WashCar Riga Summer Race”, which will also host a round of the Lithuanian Ring Challenge series. Don’t miss your chance to compete at the legendary Biķernieki track against the fastest time attack drivers from across the Baltics and be part of the exciting “WashCar Riga Summer Race” weekend.

After a five-year break, the Baltic Time Attack series returned to Baltic tracks this season and has already completed its first two rounds in Estonia and Lithuania. The season opener took place in early July at the “Pärnu Summer Race” on the Porsche Ring in Estonia, followed in early August by the second round at Lithuania’s Nemuno Žiedas together with Ring Challenge. The season finale will once again bring together time attack competitors from all three Baltic states, this time at the legendary Biķernieki track.

The “WashCar Riga Summer Race” will ignite Biķernieki over three action-packed days. Friday will be dedicated to practice sessions, while on Saturday the Baltic Touring Car Championship sprint classes will hold their qualifying and races. On Sunday, the program continues with the Estonian Formula Historic Championship, the two-hour endurance races Hankook Endurance Challenge and Nankang Endurance Academy, alongside the Baltic Time Attack sessions.

In the classic Biķernieki configuration, each Baltic Time Attack participant will take part in three sessions, spending a full hour on track. The results will be determined by each driver’s two best lap times set in two different sessions. Although several cars are on track at once, there is no direct wheel-to-wheel racing — the goal is not to overtake, but to set the fastest possible lap in clean track conditions.

For the convenience of participants, all procedures — including registration and scrutineering — can be carried out on Sunday. Registration and scrutineering will be open from 8:00 to 9:00 in the morning, though participants may also complete them on Saturday if they prefer. The first session will start at 9:00 on Sunday morning, the second at 11:45, and the third and final session at 18:40, followed immediately by the awards ceremony.
